The portion of fish was very generous. There could have been more fries, but I didn't go away hungry. I was only given 1 very small container of tartar sauce but was readily given 2 more when requested. ”

“ My wife, Verna Vilon & I went to Fergus for a day out together & happened to notice this place across from KFC by the Walmart there. We went in & tried the food for the very 1st time & we had an amazing experience. The owner/operator was VERY friendly, & the classic atmosphere including an "oldies" radio station playing classic music really took us back in time to a better time that was 100% peaceful & enjoyable. The food was amazing & perfectly balanced in flavor & freshly prepared. No overdoing it on anything. It was the highlight of our day & we are planning to make it a Monthly trip just for this place. ”

“ Driving the long journey home from Guelph to Georgian Bay.. just had to eat.. and Google brought up this gem of a fish & chips heaven! Huge slab of haddock, too big to fit in the box of chips! Fresh, not greasy, plenty of tartar sauce & vinegar.. The coleslaw was delicious too! Fresh and no onions :) The best! .. now we set our gps to stop here every time we go through - or near enough ;)) ”
